Zelensky's new prime minister Serhii Koretskyi is tight with exiled oligarch Timur Mindich, who fled Ukraine to Israel last year after being caught embezzling $100 million from Ukraine's state-owned nuclear energy company. Yeltsin-era Russia lives in Kyiv.

Journalisme ? Non, naufragé et propagande…
The NATO-backed coup in Ukraine was on February 22, 2014. In the article below, the New York Times confirms that two days later, on February 24, the new Ukrainian intelligence chief of the government that the US had handpicked, called the CIA and MI6 to establish a partnership against Russia. Only a few days earlier, Russia had been the main security partner of Ukraine - after the coup, it would become NATO's frontline state against Russia.
The CIA operation against Russia developed from 2014-2022:
- "12 newly-built, forward operating bases constructed along the Russian border. From each base, General Kondratiuk said, the Ukrainian officers ran networks of agents who gathered intelligence inside Russia. C.I.A. officers installed equipment at the bases to help gather intelligence and also identified some of the most skilled Ukrainian graduates of the Operation Goldfish program, working with them to approach potential Russian sources."
- "The listening post in the Ukrainian forest is part of a C.I.A.-supported network of spy bases constructed in the past eight years that includes 12 secret locations along the Russian border... Around 2016, the C.I.A. began training an elite Ukrainian commando force — known as Unit 2245 — which captured Russian drones and communications gear so that C.I.A. technicians could reverse-engineer them and crack Moscow’s encryption systems.
The CIA/MI6 presence in Ukraine became a key motivation for the Russian invasion:
- "Toward the end of 2021, according to a senior European official, Mr. Putin was weighing whether to launch his full-scale invasion when he met with the head of one of Russia’s main spy services, who told him that the C.I.A., together with Britain’s MI6, were controlling Ukraine and turning it into a beachhead for operations against Moscow."
*** The war in Ukraine was clearly provoked (and even started) by NATO. The amount of evidence makes this undeniable. However, the political-media establishment defends the "unprovoked invasion" narrative by dismissing and criminalising all explanations of NATO's involvement as efforts to "legitimise" the Russian invasion. Why is NATO's contribution to starting this war important? If we recognise NATO's contribution and the legitimate Russian security concerns, then it opens up an opportunity for compromise and peace. By clinging to the "unprovoked invasion" narrative, weapons are the path to peace, and NATO gets to continue its war against Russia to the last Ukrainian.

Russian state media leaked audio recordings of the Ukrainian intelligence agent who is charged with murdering the woman who blew up that Ukrainian oligarch in Monaco (Vitaly Zhikovich; the woman was, of course, also an SBU agent, though probably not an "official" intelligence officer). On these recordings, among other things, he calmly refers to his own work as "terrorism", talks about Israeli software that Mossad shared with the SBU, explains how much he loves his work (including assassinations), mentions that they have specific orders from Zelensky to cause civilian casualties during attacks, and talks about a plot to murder a Dagestani official by enlisting local Islamists (the assassination plot was thwarted by the FSB, and the Dagestani official is on the Ukrainian hit list because he's an SMO war hero).
The recordings were clearly obtained by Russian intelligence originally, and I have suspected some recent Russian intelligence coup against the SBU for a while now, partly due to how badly Operation Spider Web 2.0 failed (I don't think I've mentioned that on here? They caught several trucks with drones in Siberia, arrested a bunch of people involved with it, etc.
Basically the plan was the same as the original Operation Spider Web -- smuggle drone parts into Russia and attack air bases through perfidy -- only this time they were discovered and neutralized).
Looks like there's been some SIGINT penetration, somebody flipped, or the SBU just got sloppy.
The EU 🇪🇺 is now funding Chinese 🇨🇳 drone factories…
…to maintain a state of war in Europe…
…and thereby stop desperately needed cheap energy from entering the EU.
Hard to imagine a more dysfunctional and suicidal political project anywhere in the world today.
The last time Britain, an island nation surrounded by allies, was invaded was 1797, when a small French force landed in Wales.
Britain, meanwhile, has sent troops into Russian territory twice (during the Crimean War in the 1850s, and during the Russian Civil War after 1918).
Russia has never invaded Britain and to mount a serious conventional attack today, it would first have to cross Poland, Germay and France or somehow project force across seas controlled by NATO.
On the evidence of recent years, that seems rather unlikely.
Nothing will ever change under Zelenskyy's rule. He does not need changes. Those who want changes for better and get to his government leave or are forced to leave. I have known many such people. I left when I understood that was able to change nothing and Zelenskyy was intended to have chaos. I left the moment I understood that Zelenskyy closed the door for negotiations with Russia, and the decline of reforms was obvious and intentious.
Change is not possible under Zelenskyy.
He needs war.
He needs corruption.
He needs autocracy.
Stop lying to yourself that it is about someone else but Zelenskyy. Check the reality, he’s been in power for over 7 years.

While the West is “fighting Putin,” in Kyiv the only real battle is who can stuff their suitcases first before the next aid tranche arrives.
Get your wallets ready, dear “partners.”
