We had the privilege of sitting down with newly signed catcher for the Minnesota Twins, @iandaugherty22 , Kingfisher #OKPreps and #OSU Cowboy to talk about the MLB Draft- how the draft works, what the days leading up to Draft Day and Draft Day looked like, as well as what comes next after signing as a Free Agent with the Twins.

This is MY GUY Jon Scott of Jon Scott Media. Known this young man for a long time, great friend. Told me the story of playing for Fort Gibson in summer league and they played PAWNEE. His coach told him to guard the "little guy" so he was very confident going into the game.

Not too long into the game he found out who this guy Keiton Page was. He said he dropped 40 on him and he probably only played 3 quarters. That "club" has a pretty long member list @KeitonPage

There's a pretty good list of famous #OKPreps who have played in The Big House. Probably the most famous who played in the Oklahoma Basketball State Tournament, is @reba McEntire who played for KIOWA in 1972 & 1973 as a guard. They lost both opening round games & played both at Del City. Here's the box scores of KIOWA's games and a picture of Reba from Charley Heatly and his Lindsay All-Star Basketball Camp he started in 1971

As most of you know, David Glover passed on Saturday and his funeral will be a celebration of his life on Wednesday @ Kingfisher Gym @ 2pm

I’ve had some people reach out to me and just shared some of their favorite David Glover memories and I absolutely love these stories!

On our way to Texas last week, went through Terral OK and I had to stop and look at the gym. Why? (funny, my wife and kids asked the same question!)

On January 9, 1979, that is where GRANDFIELD #OKPreps Kenneth Johnson scored the state record 105 points. They say it was a smaller gym, I couldn't get in the building but it definitely was! The plan that day was to break the state single game scoring record, set earlier in the season by RYAN's Jay Armstrong. Johnson had 31 by the end of the 1st (71 at half) and left the game with 5:23 left in the 4th with 105 points. 105 still stands today!
