@Delta Please re-train Claudia. I was appalled to have been spoken to that way by someone under the Delta banner, because her treatment was certainly not up to the @Delta standard. (13/13)
@Delta We need to change our flight because we are adopting a baby. We weren’t irresponsible in missing a flight. I wasn’t demanding anything special. This is an extenuating circumstance, & an important reason for a change. (12/13)
@Delta We go out of our way to fly Delta. The last trip I took, I opted for a 1-stop RT flight LAX to ORD w/Delta rather than even considering nonstop flights with other airlines. Adding hours to my travel day, just to fly Delta. (11/13)
@Delta I ask if due to the extenuating circumstance if anything can be done. Can the value of the miles I would have to forfeit (~22k) be re-awarded? Can I make the change using cash instead of miles? (9/13)
@Delta …saying “that absolutely will not be possible”. Understandably, the system is not built to manage this sort of unique circumstance, which is why I called CS in the first place rather than using the chat. (8/13)
@Delta Not 60sec into me explaining our situation — we need to change the flight, miles are very valuable given how often we purchase 4 tix from ATL to LAX, would like to change the flight using cash without forfeiting miles — Claudia is interrupting… (7/13)
@Delta So I call customer service, and a helpful representative shares this is a situation she isn’t equipped to deal with. She patches me thru to her supervisor… Claudia. (6/13)
@Delta While in LA, we got a call from our adoption agency sharing they have a birth mom we can support through open adoption. What’s more — she happens to be in LA at the same time we are. We’re ecstatic — but we have to change our travel plans. (5/13)
@Delta I am from Los Angeles, but my family and I live in ATL. We fly back and forth between ATL & LAX frequently — always on Delta. I purchased a RT flight from ATL to LAX in March using hard earned miles for our annual summer month in LA with ext family. (4/13)
@Delta From the beginning of the call, Claudia interrupted me while I was explaining my situation. I have never called any airline with this sort of issue before. Being an extremely loyal customer, at the very least I expected a modicum of respect. (3/13)
@Delta A supervisor I spoke with this evening, Claudia, was unbelievably rude. As a platinum medallion, I called for assistance and received the opposite. You're a brand renowned for customer service, which is why I am a loyal customer. (2/13)
