PDT rule lifted made it better for retail investors and apparently we just cannot have that! better pass a different resolution to protect the billionaire corporations
BREAKING: The White House is reviewing whether to amend and potentially scrap a decades-old rule governing stock trading that’s meant to make sure investors get better prices for their transactions, per Bloomberg.
BREAKING: A Memphis man has been arrested after allegedly scratching off EVERY SINGLE scratch-off ticket at a Germantown Exxon while working the register… because apparently his retirement strategy was “manifesting.”
According to police, 32-year-old Lemonjello Washington decided the Tennessee Lottery was basically a giant reimbursement program. Witnesses say he spent the entire overnight shift scratching tickets like a raccoon that found a Red Bull and a quarter.
The plan? Simple.
Scratch all the tickets.
Use the winning tickets to pay for the losing tickets.
Pocket the profit.
Become Memphis royalty.
Unfortunately, investigators say the math “collapsed almost immediately,” which experts are calling “the most Shelby County Schools thing ever.”
Police say Lemonjello confidently told officers:
“Y’all don’t understand… eventually one of these gone hit.”
Sir. That is not investing. That is emotional support gambling.
Things became suspicious around 3:17 AM when customers walked in asking for scratch-offs and Lemonjello allegedly replied:
“We fresh out… but spiritually we up right now.”
By sunrise, the counter reportedly looked like a confetti cannon exploded inside a bankruptcy hearing. Losing tickets were stacked knee-high. The only big winner was the Exxon trash can.
Authorities say the total losses exceeded several thousand dollars, while total winnings amounted to:
• 3 free tickets
• $11
• and a coupon for a free Mountain Dew.
🤣🤣🤣

We also have a code of conduct that every player of our games agrees to. Part of that is refraining from profanity. Freedom of Speech is between the US Govt. and it's citizens. Not between a private company and their customers. No, you aren't allowed to curse in our games. Do so, get reported, there are consequences. ^PJ
@Seaabastian just let people enjoy what they want to enjoy they aren't hurting you. who cares if they're flexing pet battle scores or m+ parses or the amount of world firsts they've achieved. be happy for them or ignore them. no need to be condescending
this is locked so cant reply but for everyone else, you don't "find these parties on fetlife". you find events on fetlife where you can go meet people. then these people invite you to the parties privately. any "sex party on fetlife" you openly find is gonna be a bad time
@Annahielll I do this all the time. I usually just add on at the end quickly "hey i have a pickup for XXXX - i literally just placed the order its probably not ready yet" that way they know you're here, waiting, and not an entitled dickhead
my life got significantly better once i realized that the suffering I've experienced doesn't make me more interesting or more complex, and that I would enjoy life more if i moved on and earnestly tried to be the happiest version of myself every day
@Artemishowl_ not an expert but I did some light research on this and theres some good news. this variant was already known to spread human to human so its not a new mutation. it has a low R0 which is basically how they measure "spreadability", it requires prolonged close contact
