@vini_ball What I am trying to say is, I think VAR, if they made it in time would have intervened and called for a red, but because the play got taken quickly and another foul was made, they couldn’t do that, hence Lee didn’t get a fully deserved red.
@vini_ball Without a doubt Lee should have gotten a red, the thing is here, that the freekick got taken quickly and a few seconds afterwards another fouls was called. Correct me if I am wrong, but VAR can not intervene on a “old” foul when a new play have been made and stopped. [1/2]
@NealGardner_ How I wish Barca would take a stand against all Spanish teams and just not trade/sell to the anymore. Whether being 1st team players or La Masia players.
Sadly it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna be like that, but it would be nice, because there’s quite some clubs that feeds on Barca
@Ellis_ My curiosity lies in, if Nico wanted to stay, couldn’t he just have rejected the buy-back clause? Unless the clause did that Nico did not have any choices of his own 😅
@ReshadRahman@monfortcarlos What I wish is for Laporta to also try and make up things with Atletí to solve the “disputes” they apparently have, at least from Atleti’s side, and make relations better, because just maybe then they might be willing to do a deal with Barca
@nns_marion@NealGardner_@papercutman21 Well, time will tell anyways, the WC is in a few days, so I doubt any deals will get done or nearly done at all during the period 😅
@nns_marion@NealGardner_@papercutman21 If they indeed end up doing that, which is plausibel, then I was wrong on thinking that Atletí hates Real, seeing how Real has celebrated and made fun of Atletí every time they have met, specially with recent CL exists against time and the lost CL final, twice
@nns_marion@NealGardner_@papercutman21 I know much of him that he’s willing be a thorn on the side of Barca due to all issues related to SuperLeague and how Barca left. So I know for sure Perez wanna mess with the transfer targets Barca also aims. Again it all falls back on who Atletí wants to deal with
@nns_marion@NealGardner_@papercutman21 They can enquire with Julian and his camp as much as they want, it all, as with Barca, falls back on whether Atletí wanna negotiate with their city rivals, Real, which I still doubt Atletí wants to, but I don’t know who Atletí hates more of the 2 clubs in recent times though
@NealGardner_@papercutman21 Keep in mind though that Atletí and Real are literal rivals, I doubt Atletí would sell to Real, just as much as they refuse to sell to Barca 😅
@outofideascnc@MusialaEra Barca is probably gonna bid more than the 100m, but they sent that offer to firstly test the waters, which is pretty normal for a lot of clubs 😅
@SamiRmcf15 I believe when he actually joined Atletí he actually believed in their vision. Then Atletí not being able to execute them yet and actually showing recline my be one of the other reasons he wants to leave 😅
@GargVikhyat @eurofootcom@Glongari Barca weren’t restricted by money, but by the FairPlay imposed on them, meaning Barca always had the money but they weren’t allowed to spend X out of X but rather X out of Y. Nor it seems like with Barca back in X:X they can spend and register players even
@NealGardner_ I see a potential arrival with positive eyes because for Flick he need players who press properly to make the high line "efficient" and not easily be overplayed. Neither Rashford,Lewy, Ferran and Lamine are proper press players who's needed to have the players be the most optimal
@NealGardner_ A key difference which I feel like many misses on, that a majority of the goals Barca have conceded is because the first press from the attackers didn't work because they either press slow or don't press at all. In this regard Gordon is a press player who is also a decent player
@NealGardner_ Uninspiring and lack of respect for other teams fighting to stay in the league. Players who generally have shown a lack of level throughout the season and players who haven’t played that much didn’t really show anything today at all. Some who shouldn’t even continue next season.
@BarcaTimes So uninspiring from a lot of the players, and lack of respect for other teams fighting to stay in the league. Even when there’s nothing to play for players who should show their worth who hasn’t played or performed in a long time, yet again failed to perform…
@NealGardner_ Essentially it all falls back on players messing up in crucial moments, illustrated last week with Cubarsí and this time Eric, both as a result of bad collective pressing and Gerard Martin being positioned horrible. On top of that all the missed chances in the first costed a lot.
