Elliotte is correct in saying always bet on your own chin. Years ago, a couple different agents and even some people at networks told me to stop relentlessly tweeting about booze, drugs, and tits. Said I’m too big of a brand risk. Said if I cleaned up my style I could get a real job in entertainment somewhere.

Did I listen? No. Did I end up getting hired by a network or scoring a great job in entertainment? No. Did I have to listen to people for the past decade tell me I’ll never amount to anything? Yes. Do they still say that? Yes.

And look what happened ever since I believed in myself: I’m on the biggest Chinese hockey baseball show in northeast Scottsdale with 600 views an episode.
