@BaronDestructo I too gained more interest in reading with comic books. I was a Marvel Fan, mostly Spider-man. I joined a bookclub later, read the Hobbit and Robert E Howard’s Conan the Barbarian before Jr High.

I started creating fictional stories of colonizing Mars. Never wrote a real story.

@BaronDestructo Serpent’s Song. Both Peter Williams and Michael Shanks’ actor moved me. Especially after Apophis dies and the host is free. The emotions Peter Williams brought out was so very real.
