🚨 I TOLD YOU! The trap is being sprung right in front of our eyes, and the Westminster establishment is in on the game. Brussels is slapping a devastating 47 percent tariff-free cut on British steel to intentionally crush our manufacturing. But why?
Because this is their entire master plan. The EU is going to squeeze our economy until Starmer and his team can run to the cameras, throw their hands up, and tell the public: "We have no choice but to drop our red lines and rejoin the single market."
It is a coordinated economic hostage situation designed to force our surrender. We called this exact plot days ago. Do not let them gaslight you. Retweet this everywhere! 🇬🇧📉
Some of the snowflakes answers , no wonder countries in a mess.. Why save and be thrifty. If in later life you need care, have it for free like the ones that have never paid in but expect it.. Life's one long hussle, enjoy it ❤️
£2800 a month for a dementia home , could get it free if my mum and dad hadn’t worked, saved and lived on the benefits. What is the bloody point of trying
Topic this morning #youthunemployment 30 years ago, I was on a yts scheme paid £35 per week, all of my friends left school and straight in to work. Fast forward 30 years, same job pays £320 minimum. Both parties haven't got a clue how to run a country, it's a simple tax exercise
@unhippyman For the purist I understand, but for someone like me who's knowledge of the game is limited. The T20 are good fun, it's great to see these players smashing the ball to every corner of the ground. Each to their own I guess 🏏
20 years ago today, the Reds were promoted to the Championship by beating Swansea City on penalties at the Millennium Stadium in the play-off final 🏆
A memorable day in the special history of our football club❤️
@antclare78 Negative Neerav, but cannot fault him putting hand in his pocket, if he employed the right people on and off the field we'd flourish. To grow you have to bring consistency, connecting the club team and fans is his biggest problem. Best of luck to him #youreds
Jeff Bezos just said the bottom half of Americans should pay zero federal income tax.
And honestly? He may have accidentally exposed the entire scam.
Bezos pointed to a nurse in Queens making roughly $75,000 a year and paying around $12,000 in taxes:
“We shouldn’t be asking this nurse in Queens to send money to Washington.”
Think about how insane this system has become.
A nurse working 12-hour shifts is taxed before she even sees her paycheck while billionaires borrow against appreciating assets, exploit loopholes, and sometimes pay lower effective tax rates than school teachers.
The average American is funding an empire they can barely afford to live in.
Wars.
Interest payments.
Corporate subsidies.
Defense contracts.
Lobbyist wish lists.
Meanwhile the person changing bedpans in Queens gets her paycheck carved up like she’s financing Rome before collapse.
The most dangerous thing Bezos said wasn’t about taxes.
It was admitting out loud that the people carrying the country on their backs are getting crushed while the system tells them it’s “normal.”
Your father retired at sixty.
He bought a caravan. He saw his grandkids on Tuesdays. He had time.
You are sixty four. Your knees are gone. Your back is ruined.
And they have moved the line again. Sixty seven. Then sixty eight. Then sixty nine.
They sold three years of your retirement to balance their books.
They sold five years of your wife's pension to balance their books.
They will sell your children's whole retirement before they are done.
Healthy life expectancy in this country is sixty three. You will retire sick. If you retire at all.
The printer at Threadneedle Street never stops. The spending at the Treasury never stops. The excuses at Downing Street never stop.
Three machines grinding through your life.
You were not given more years to enjoy.
You were given more years to serve.
🚨 Rupert Lowe Takes on HMRC’s Bureaucratic Bullying
MP Rupert Lowe delivered a blistering critique of HMRC, exposing how its monstrously complex tax rulebook is being weaponised against small business owners and compliant taxpayers.
In a sharp committee exchange, Lowe slammed the agency for hiding behind a sprawling, spaghetti-like mess of regulations “more loose ends than a plate of spaghetti” that creates endless grey areas, traps, and opportunities for aggressive interpretation.
Instead of going after serious issues like money laundering, HMRC appears focused on squeezing profitable, law-abiding businesses with audits, penalties, and pressure tactics.
Small businesses, the backbone of the economy are left navigating a labyrinth designed to catch them out, while real problems go unchecked.
Lowe is right to call this out. Britain needs a simpler, fairer tax system that collects what’s owed without treating entrepreneurs like criminals.
Over-complicated rules don’t raise revenue sustainably, they destroy confidence and drive talent away.
Time to cut the red tape and stop the bureaucratic bullying.
Coming to the end of my week with the @Kia_UK K4, in £26,795 Pure 1.0 T-GDi 48V guise. Realised it was my first road test in a manual car for over 7 months!! Not the prettiest spec this, but I do like the fact its low-slung silhouette is a departure from the norm.
Yet the service gets worse, it's okay the leaders of government think raising the minimum wage will fix everything! Increase the income tax threshold to £16000, then increase give over inflation year on rises. Freeze the minimum wage to keep costs down! The benefits will be huge
I am so fed up with bills I can’t justify and nor should they 2 years ago £30 a month for my water last year £65 and one year later a 25% increase now £81 a month????! I feel like refusing until wages go up by
25% too - council tax nearly £300 a month this is fucking insane
