On 17june2026 I had position in Silver-24-june-2026 300000 ce option which I squared off at around 11pm(Indian time) with a profit of Rs983009.33(excluding transaction charges and all). On 18june2026 the amount was credited to my trading account. On 19june2026 I got a mail from icicidirect stating that pursuant to instructions received from MCX vide its communication dated 19 June 2026, an amount of Rs 1009500.85 available in your allocations has been debited as per instructions received from mcx.
I contacted my rm shoubhik saha/740160, he said to contact [email protected] (who looks commodity desk) and discussed the above matter. then on mailed to the [email protected] and nutan. Then after exchange of few mails I was given an explanation that this amount deducted was my transaction charges as per MCX Circular no. mcx/trd/456/2021 and was said to check it. Meanwhile I also mailed to [email protected] and [email protected] regrading an explanation but the response I got from them was that sir, please give any proof of the same given to me by mcx. I said no because messages came from icicidirect so mcx said that then please contact your broker.
I also mailed to [email protected] to please look into the matter.
On 26june2026 got a mail from [email protected] asking for the trade executed on 17th June which I replied to that I squared off my position with the price which was there on that particular time which are there in trade book/order book. So they cleared that matter upon reviewing the same.
An explanation came from Sejal Gavhane from escalation desk stating that please ignore the mail (transaction charge one) which was sent erroneously and her apologise for the inconvenience.

On call I was informed that some client has reported in cybercell that his account was hacked and call were executed without his knowledge or consent. MY QUESTION IS ICICIDIRECT PLATFORM SAFE OR NOT?
So the matter is being investigated, and i was assured that my money would be returned back once the matter is closed.

On 10july2026 I got a message and mail stating that the we attempted the fund transfer of Rs1009500.85 on 08.07.2026 but it failed due to ANY OTHER REASON, please update your bank details in your trading account. I checked my bank details linked to my trading account and every detail was correct and reverted them a mail giving all the details and told them if any of my details were incorrect how come there be daily inflow and outflow of margin amount and you wouldn't have deducted the amount at the starting itself if the bank details were not correct. Few days past with the same then came another mail stating that once again that this email was sent erroneously and please ignore it and again the same explanation that we are looking into the matter and once we get clearance from mcx we will return your money back. HOW COME ICICIDIRECT TEAM BE SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND EXPECT US TO COOPOERATE.

When I got the message the attempt to refund my money back I started to take position in fno based on that assuming an amount of Rs1009500.85 and so easily the say that that message was sent by mistake and please ignore it my world had come upside down financially and mentally.

After few days I got a call from sunil chavria that stating that they are looking into the matter I asked that icicidirect has already found me guilty so they have deducted the money and i asked to let me present my answers/justification again which I had given to amlcomplaince team regarding my trades and execution that was accepted and been cleared based on which I got the message of reverting the money back. There is no transparency how they are looking into this and once cleared whether i would be refunded back or not?

Experienced a fraud from icicidirect in name of mcx guidelines they have debited an amount of Rs 1009500.85 on 19June and still haven't returned the amount and when asked about it they it is guidelines by mcx to detain the said amount and investigation is gone on.
