The NHL Alumni Association is deeply saddened to learn that Dennis Hull has passed away at the age of 81.
From Point Anne, Ontario, Dennis played junior hockey in St. Catharine’s from 1960 to 1964, before making the jump to the NHL with the Chicago Black Hawks.
Dennis made his NHL debut on October 14, 1964, and scored his first NHL goal just two months later on December 19, 1964. In his fifth NHL season, Dennis was selected to play in the 1969 NHL All-Star Game, and would play in the All-Star Game four more times consecutively from 1971-74.
Dennis played 904 regular-season games over the course of 13 seasons with Chicago from 1964 to 1977, before playing his 14th and final NHL season with the Detroit Red Wings.
Internationally, Dennis represented Canada at the 1972 Summit Series, registering 2 goals and 4 points in 4 games.
After retiring from professional hockey, Dennis returned to St. Catharine’s, enrolled at Brock University, earned a degree in education, and later became a teacher and an athletic director.
We send our deepest condolences to Dennis’ family, friends, and former teammates during this difficult time.
The Vikings agreed to terms with Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasley as their general manager, sources tell NFL Network.
Fresh off a Super Bowl win, Teasley — regarded as one of the NFL’s top young executives — now will try to bring a Lombardi Trophy to Minnesota.
This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60.

There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸
We're going live tonight at 7:30 (EST) for part one of @MalleyJimmy 's draft prospect analysis, Tonight we'll discuss center, Caleb Malhotra, who likely will be picked ahead of the Blackhawks #4 pick, but ya never know. Join us along with @Diesal3426 https://t.co/KQU9Tld3um
The Cubs are the most uninspiring “good” team in baseball. Good enough to keep people employed, but underachieve every season. They could just be great like they should be and shut me up, but they won’t
All that being said. I didn’t hate it, nor am I rushing back to go see it again. It exists, it has parts I can enjoy and doesn’t do anything to make me outright hate it, which is a bare minimum of a movie I can watch
Watched The Mandalorian and Grogu last night. Very obvious that they morphed a season of TV into a 2 hour movie. A pretty resounding “eh.”
Stakes were extremely low for a Star Wars movie. Acting felt flat, and the plot and pacing were all over the place
Also, is Mando cool with his helmet being off, or not? I swear he’s (or the screenwriters) bipolar about it and don’t want to commit to it one way or the other
