A similar thing happened to me with the 1998 American version of Godzilla. I was obsessed with a movie I wouldn’t see for several years.

Back when the Ang Lee Hulk movie came out, I saw the trailer and got obsessed with Hulk. Got the Hulk PS2 game. Got a bunch of Hulk toys. Hulk books. Had a Hulk themed birthday party where I got Hulk hands and fought my friends with them

I didn’t watch Ang Lee’s Hulk until 2006

@Crimson_Mayhem_ I thought that the theater scene in the final film was enough, but after a while, it started to seem like a bad take.

I agree that Buck’s redemption could’ve been handled a lot better.

If any Disney character deserved that much vitriol, it should be Lady Tremaine, Frollo, and Mother Gothel.

As for mentioning Lady Tremaine, Frollo, and Gothel, I know they’re intended to be villains. They’re just infinitely worse characters.
