The revolution belongs to the youth. When the old start celebrating your defeat, you must know that you are now a level above your age mates. I’m so happy you didn't forget to register for your academic studies at the beginning of the year and remembered to register again for the SRC elections. I'm very proud of you, @EFFYouthCommand. Continue the good fight. #VoteEff04Nov26✊🏿

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Mogalakwena Sub-Region, led by its Mayoral Candidate, Fighter Shela Majoko, and the Chairperson of the Sub-Region, Fighter Malesela Lelaka, today met with the community of Galakwena following serious concerns raised regarding the RAL road project and the conduct surrounding its implementation.
The community raised allegations of intimidation and victimisation, claiming that those who question irregularities or expose wrongdoing in the project are targeted. Of particular concern is the arrest of two community members who have been providing leadership and raising concerns about what is happening around the project.
One of those arrested is the EFF Councillor Candidate for Ward 1, who was democratically elected by the community to represent them. The EFF assured the community that it will provide the necessary support, including assistance with legal costs, to ensure that both arrested community members have access to proper legal representation and a fair process.
The EFF is deeply concerned about allegations that these arrests may be politically motivated and intended to remove active community leaders from the ground during this important period. The criminal justice system must never be abused to settle political scores, silence community activists or prevent political candidates from campaigning and serving their communities.
