Yesterday morning, Dr. Miller and Darla, with other Malone faculty and staff, attended the 31st annual MLK Mayors’ Breakfast. Malone trustee Krista Allison helped plan the event, which was MCed by another Malone trustee, Reverend Walter Arrington.

Today we shared a Thanksgiving lunch in the Caf with several EFC-ER pastors and Malone students – they’re just one thing we are thankful for this year! What a great time and opportunity it was for our students to connect with local pastors of the Evangelical Friends denomination.
This morning, the Malone University family grieves with Tuscarawas Valley City Schools in the loss of Kristy (Boone) Gaynor '07, Shannon (Abbuhl) Wigfield *97, and four others as a result of yesterday's tragic bus accident.
Together we plead: Lord, have mercy. Christ have mercy.
Scenes from a wonderful weekend in Battle Creek, MI: sharing a meal with John Thomas '52, a Cleveland Bible College graduate, and preaching at Battle Creek Friends Church. Malone students joined us; the next generation of Christian leaders is something to get excited about!
Tonight's Alumni Award winners are truly in a class of their own-- each one with contributions to Malone, Church, community, and world that are meaningful and rare. It was a joy to celebrate them.
(We also had six former student body presidents in the room tonight; super fun!)
Homecoming kicked off today with a breakfast for pastors and their spouses: a time of food, fellowship, worship, and expressing gratitude for the work God is doing at Malone and in our lives.
It was a joy and blessing to worship and partake of Holy Communion with friends at John Knox Presbyterian Church today. Thank you to the Rev. Dr. Michael W. Smith for welcoming the Millers once again and inviting Dr. Miller to share a sermon.
Earlier this week, Dr. Miller and Darla, Brian Hollingsworth, and Jack Hazen took a trip to Reynoldsburg to visit Columbus-area alumni and share the mission and vision of Malone in the comfort of the Armstrong home (Scott '73 and Susan). Thank you to those who joined us.
It was a joy to attend the annual Love Akron awards brunch yesterday! A special congratulations go out to Bishop Joey Johnson II, former Malone trustee and founding & preaching pastor of the House of the Lord on his receipt of the Allies Award for his service in the Akron area.
