In his sworn affidavit, Gracioso said he and other members of Velasco’s security team picked up the two new, bulletproof Grandias from Raymond Ronquillo, whom he identified as the owner of R33 Car Exchange.

One was packed with boxes and suitcases of cash and the other was filled with gifts, including watches, ROYCE’ chocolates and branded bags.

“Yung pinakamaliit na maleta, may laman na nasa mga 20M. Yung malalaking maleta, may laman na nasa 50M. Puno yung Bulletproof Grandia ng cash na nakalagay sa boxes at maleta,” he said.

“Yung isa naman ay puno ng gifts tulad ng relo, Royce chocolates at branded bags.”

Gracioso said the two Grandias were driven to Davao, stopping first at the residence of Velasco’s wife, Rowena “Wen” Velasco, before proceeding in convoy to Duterte’s home.

“Nag usap kami at sinabi ko na may padala si Ma’am Wen na mga maleta, boxes, at iba pang regalo na nakalagay sa dalawang van,” he said.

Gracioso said he personally gave Duterte a separate gift from Wen Velasco before leaving the vehicles behind.

“Yung van na may lamang pera iniwan na namin kay Jepoy,” he said referring to Duterte’s chief of staff, Jeffrey Tupas.
