I’m told that, in response to my prior tweet, @EliseStefanik deleted her 1/6/21 statement — that those who stormed the Capitol “must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Here is Elise’s statement again. Feel free to share. #nomorecrackpots
@mmpadellan Amen brother. Life is a struggle but it is a struggle we can pull through with the help from others, the love of friends and family and the sheer determination of will. Stay blessed.
@FibroBloggers@chronicpainlive Okay listen up people. Sometimes I may seem crabby, but what I really am, is pain!
Too tired to think, talk, walk, in a brain fog or do much of anything. It's called CFS and fibro. So, unless you suffer from it, or read up on it, do me a favor and cut me some slack.
TWEEPS: 88 years ago today, on August 14, 1935, the Social Security Act became law, enabling our nation's seniors to retire with dignity and afford basic necessities. Republicans want to END that contract.

Often, when I talk about Voting Rights, and the need to protect them, I get trolls saying "Who's stopping you from voting? That's just a bunch of drama from your side." I wish it was.
Personally, I have never been stopped from voting, and God help the person who tries. But there are thousands, even MILLIONS of people who are being disenfranchised EVERY voting cycle with dirty tricks by Republicans with no policies to offer.
Those dirty tricks include voter intimidation tactics, reducing (or eliminating) the number of drop boxes, reducing or eliminating early vote days (which benefit people of color), and even eliminating purging thousands of legally registered voters.
And while they do these things to limit participation in our democratic process that so many fought and died for, they are making it easier for millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations to BUY elections and have an outsized vote, thanks to Citizens United.
House and Senate Democrats are fighting to protect ALL voters -- not just Democrats, but Republicans and Independents too. Because our system works much better the more people that are engaged in it. That's why they're introducing the Freedom to Vote Act.
Not only does it protect EVERYONE'S vote, but it seeks to:
- end gerrymandering so WE get to pick our representatives and not the other way around
- Closes dark money loopholes that let the wealthy buy elections
- Expands early voting
- Automatic and same day registration
- Eliminates long voter lines
The ONLY people who would be against this are people who don't deserve OUR votes.
Help us get #ProtectMyFreedomToVote trending on Twitter.

LET'S GOOOOOO!!!! 💪💪
I'm getting pretty sick and tired of millionaire Joe Manchin and his coy, playing both sides of the political fence shenanigans.
And I like it even LESS when people tell me not to go after him because he votes with Democrats X% of the time. It's not good enough.
Make no mistake: his headlining an event for the group "No Labels" is not some innocent, innocuous thing. It's a slap in the face to everyone who wants the progress achieved under President Biden to continue.
Joe Manchin cares about keeping his Big Oil and Big Pharma donors happy, NOTHING ELSE.
Joe Manchin can drive his Maserati straight to his big yacht and go fuck himself.
We, meanwhile, need to elect as many Democratic Senators as possible so we can render selfish DINO Senators like Manchin irrelevant.
