I’m Brandon Brown — a small business owner, Christian, HBCU advocate, and 5th generation South Carolinian. Today, I’m launching my campaign for U.S. Senate to take on Lindsey Graham! Watch my launch video now:
I'm running for Senate because health care matters. Rural hospitals in Abbeville, Oconee, Chester, Marion & Orangeburg are closing. Mental health care is vanishing. Congress cut 100K SC residents from Medicaid for tax breaks. We deserve better. #SaveOurHospitals#SCPolitics
So excited to be in South Carolina campaigning for my old pal @BrownforSC. Meeting lots of old friends. Great crowds. Lots of grassroots energy for him to beat Lindsey Graham. Please send him a little help if you can. Something interesting is happening in SC.
Texas Democrats were joined in Boston this morning by Democrats from more than 37 states to speak up against the MAGA Republicans’ “rig-districting” of their state and on behalf of democracy itself.
We say NO to kings and to silencing the voices of the American People!

I’m a Democratic state legislator in a deeply conservative state, and I expect that in the coming weeks, we’ll be called back to the Capitol. Not to address the rising cost of living, or to invest in public schools, but to redraw our congressional map at the direction of Donald Trump and Republicans in Washington DC.
Let’s be clear about what this is: an unprecedented, deeply cynical, and almost certainly unconstitutional effort to manipulate the outcome of future elections by changing the rules of the game as it’s being played.
Today in Texas, we watched the governor order the arrest of Democratic legislators simply for exercising their right to dissent. That kind of heavy-handed, anti-democratic behavior isn’t just dangerous, it’s a warning. It tells us that this moment is about more than redistricting; it’s about whether we still believe in the rule of law, in representative government, and in the idea that power comes from the governed not those governing. Power should be earned, not seized.
And while I’d like to believe Missouri is better than that, the truth is, democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires people. Citizens and elected officials alike who are willing to stand up, speak out, and protect it. I plan to be one of them.

You NEED to listen to this kid! We’ll see him in politics someday.
He stands strong and tells these politicians exactly how Trump’s #BigBadBill will hurt each and every member of his family. He’s quite an inspiring orator.
Have you talked to your legislators?

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just said the quiet part out loud: Trump and MAGA are trying to sunset Social Security.
I will fight that with everything I’ve got. Social Security isn’t some luxury—it’s a promise.

#GDP being up is not what they're going to say it is.
#Republican "Leadership" will lie - it's nature 🦂. Don't be fooled. #Inflation#import#export#economy
GDP = Consumer spending + Business investment + Government spending + (Exports - Imports)

Here in Missouri, we don’t mind people moving in to build a better life. That’s the promise of America: opportunity, community, and freedom for all. But let me be crystal clear, if you’re coming here to build a future that shuts people out based on the color of their skin, you’ve misunderstood not just the spirit of this state, but what it means to be American.
Hate disguised as ‘heritage,’ segregation dressed up as ‘freedom of association’… We’ve seen those tactics before. And history tells us exactly where they lead.
Missouri’s story is still being written, and I’m working every day to make sure it’s one where every child Black, white, Latino, Asian, Native, immigrant or not grows up with the same shot at dignity, safety, and belonging.
We can’t stop folks from buying land. But we can make it known that this state’s values are bigger than fear, deeper than ignorance, and stronger than hate. Missouri may be the Show-Me State but we’re not interested in being shown how to go backwards.
