Matt Walsh is under the impression that transgender people have done nothing. On Trans Day of Visibility, lets look at some of the contributions, accomplishments, and amazing things transgender people have done.

We have always been here.

[One Iowa @OneIowa]

#TransDayofVisibility celebrates the amazing trans community and highlights the importance of visibility. But it's not just about being seen; it's about trans folks being able to live their lives authentically and safely.

Today’s @DMRegister. Not how I want to see my Iowa taxpayer funds spent. Did Legislature authorize this spending? So what happens if an officer is hurt in the line of duty or commits an offense and is liable? Iowa 👮 insurance crosses state line? This is not a states’ issue and certainly not Iowa’s responsibility to secure the Texas border. That’s for the President and Congress to work out. Thank you for reconsidering @IAGovernor. @PatGrassley. Amy Sinclair. #BorderSecurity

For anyone weighing whether or not to leave their educational careers - I lost 20 lbs in the first few months after I left. The desire for stress eating just went away. And my new chosen career is still a stressful one. I now counsel those with substance abuse problems.

Giving teachers guns and turning down grants for money to feed children. 🤦‍♀️

[Heather Sly @MamaSly82]

Never been so happy to have left education. This state is a dumpster fire.

House lawmakers advance $3 million grant program to help schools buy guns for teachers https://t.co/h0KlTW1i56

Guns silence thousands of lives every year. "The Shotline" was created to bring these voices back using AI technology in order to call our representatives. I just placed a call to @ChuckGrassley using one of these voices, and you can join me. https://t.co/fylwt6rMHZ

@EPrecipice If they are visibly dirty. Otherwise I’m the Midwest mama that’s just once a year.

@johannarose511 Sounds like you’ve got an awesome team to help. And two loving parents can’t f*ck a kid up that bad right?? 😜

I’m going to guess because it’s pretty? It’s artistic? Why should just women get to enjoy pretty things? Artistic expression? Such a strange question.

Can someone please explain to me why men are wearing nail polish? Like full grown men, married with kids, wearing nail polish. What’s going on?

[Heather Sly @MamaSly82]

@johannarose511 Get a body pillow shaped like a candy cane. Sounds odd but it’s the only thing that made me comfy the last few months. No joke. I swear by it.

[Heather Sly @MamaSly82]

This is why republicans want to raise the voting age. They know these kids see right through their BS and they’re shaking. I can’t wait for these young ones to vote.

Budget surplus redistributed as a tax cut to rich individuals is ludicrous when we do not have proper funding for mental health or schools. Why does she always spin it like we’ll all benefit? She knows 98% of us won’t see that money back. Evil ass woman

[Claire Celsi @SenClaireCelsi]

Senate Democrats confirmed that about half of the surplus is attributed to underfunding public education. Reynolds is hoarding Iowa taxpayers' money and shifting it to the wealthiest Iowans while shorting educators and children.

Comments talking bout how she conned him into marriage/kids while knowing she was queer. Many women are conditioned from a young age, that they bury their queerness so painfully deep it stays there for years. These 2 were happy then and happier now. Stop the hate. It’s gross

[Andrew Pantazi @apantazi]

Life update: I’m getting divorced. After 9 years married, Lauren has accepted she's queer & not attracted to men. We remain best friends and co-parents, even as we start dating others. I'm awed by her newfound happiness. Burdens that we didn't know existed have lifted for her.
