@rhisey26 @gregbradyTO No one ever said the vaccine prevented people from getting it but it does cause a far milder response than not being vaxxed. Regardless, I agree...I would like my kids to go back to school once this time is up...I just wanted the chance to vaccinate them first.

@MistahTibbs @gregbradyTO Who cares? We don't know the risks of long covid in kids but we do know that the covid vaccine has minimal side effects. It's a no brainer for me. Why take any kind of unnecessary risk?

@rhisey26 @gregbradyTO It takes 2 weeks for the vaccine to take full effect. I know it's unlikely that my kids will get seriously ill but we don't know the effects of long covid...why take the risk when we have a solution.

Awful News: Brampton Civic Hospital has just called a Code Orange due to staffing shortage. My heart is beating fast for patients. This is so unsafe. Where is the Premier in all of this? People will die unnecessarily 💔 😢

Almost 10pm and still preparing materials for online. People who think teachers love online don't realize that it's actually so much more work. Teaching in front of the class is far easier...for us and the kids.
