SUIDERLIG LEARNER MISSING, PHONE LAST SIGNAL DEEP CITY JOHANNESBURG
VANDERBIJLPARK โ An urgent search is underway for 18-year-old Nontsikelelo Maseko, who disappeared on Tuesday morning while heading to school.
Maseko was last spotted in Vanderbijlpark wearing her Suiderlig high school uniform. She has knotless braids and was traveling to class when contact was lost.
According to the family, the last signal from her cellphone placed her at Benrose Supermarket in Deep City, Johannesburg.
Her father, Mr Maseko, and family friend Lebohang Mokoena are pleading with the public for any information that could lead to her safe return.

R7.5 Million Worth of Suspected Illicit Cigarettes Seized:
A 35-year-old man was arrested after police recovered suspected illicit cigarettes valued at approximately R7.5 million during an operation on the N1 near Vaal Plaza on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.
The Isuzu truck used to transport the cigarettes was also seized.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Parys Magistrateโs Court on charges relating to the possession of suspected illicit cigarettes.

The @SAPoliceService through #OperationShanela have disrupted a major drug smuggling route and uncovered Dagga with a street value of R11 Million.
SAPS state that preliminary investigations reveal that the drugs were from Eswatini to Limpopo & to be distributed throughout Mzansi.
3 suspects have been arrested and will appear in court tomorrow.
