Quillin went a solid 4IP with 5Ks and 2 walks.

He boasted a hearty FB, CH, CB mix that caught many of the Chieftain hitters off guard.

FB was firm and mixed in the CH to lefties and CB to righties. Demonstrated easy command to both sides of the plate.

‘28 SS Kensen Johnson (@kensenjohnson13) of Bonita Vista HS

While it was a quiet day offensively for Johnson and the rest of Bonita Vista, the sophomore flashed the leather, making difficult defensive plays up the middle at the SS position, showing athletic ability, awareness, and a quick release to beat runners at 1st. After a walk, Johnson would also show the wheels stealing 2nd.
