[SAPS ANNOUNCES BREAKTHROUGH IN DAWN PARK MURDER CASE]

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has made a breakthrough in the murder investigation involving the ninth victim in the series of murder cases involving women currently under investigation in Gauteng.

Three suspects, comprising one man and two women, were arrested over the weekend by members of the Gauteng Murder and Robbery Unit in connection with the murder.

The trio is expected to appear today before the Boksburg Park Magistrates’ Court.

You promised thousands of CCTV cameras, including in townships, hostels and informal settlements, plus an integrated command centre watching them in real time. Were any of those cameras covering Rhodesfield and the R21 corridor where these women’s bodies were found????
You claimed to have launched AmaPanyaza crime wardens, e-panic buttons, helicopters and drones and said women should no longer fear going out in public. Why is SAPS now telling women in Kempton Park not to run or walk alone????

You said if you failed to fight crime you would resign.
