@3twosplit@ANGAFROY@YungyVI@ElPapaBerto If all you play is UMvC3, you are new here lmaoo. You aren’t experienced enough in fighting games to know wtf you’re talking or to be giving advice. UMvC3 isn’t even that hard, it’s just niche and has an emphasis on execution. That doesn’t make you good and you’re still a casual.
@ANGAFROY@YungyVI@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Right. He’s talking like someone who just got here and has a superiority complex. But he don’t know that we got time for hands and would rock bro in any game he plays on pad EASILY 🤣
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Nah. Clearly you’re pressed because you’re the lousiest poser and we all can see right through it. You’ve never placed highly in anything and you should not be giving anyone dumbass advice idc how new they are. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Nah. I just think you’re slow as hell and don’t know anything while calling everyone casuals lmao. But dw, I’ll rock you in Tokon on pad like I was doin to everyone in both betas because I have fundies from playing local offline fighting games for decades…
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Look bro. You tryna make 100 points at once. Fighting game normies exist and the only real thing that keeps them from not being a casual is refusing to learn how to play the game and get better. That has nothing to do with control and everything to do with understanding fundies.
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto That’s what I’m telling YOU lmao. It’s not even all that character dependent since most characters can hit you with a crazy setup that leads to TODs. Nothing about the controller makes that much of a difference especially with that game. You gotta use some reading comprehension.
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto UMVC3 is a game about hitting long combos and TODs so yeah, you can’t panic mash but that’s regardless of controller lol. We’re flaming you because that’s horrendous advice. Your controller doesn’t matter starting out. What matters is learning a game how it best suits you.
@Aiden__Quinn@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto He thinks he’s a cool kid now because he jumped into the fgc online with no actual human interaction and now wants to gatekeep. Go tell this advice to the dude at your local stomping you with 1 frame links on an old Hori pad from PS3 era talkin about “you can’t mash on stick” foh
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Yeah, your point doesn’t make any sense. You can DEFINITELY mash on ANY controller. Getting results isn’t tied to your controller outside of preference. Saying someone NEEDS to get a specific controller when there’s tons of top FGC players playing on pad is a take of all time…
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Normies mash regardless of the controller. Thats not a symptom of the controller, it’s just them not learning how to play the game. My issue with this is that people will go out and buy a stick/leverless and think that’ll magically solve their problems when that’s not true at all
@ElPapaBerto Look at this game as a “spicy” 1v1. You only have one health bar and you currently don’t have any real incentives to switch unless you just want to change the matchup on the fly. Learn one character and then learn what assists go well with them. That alone will take you far.
@3twosplit@ElPapaBerto Stick is very preference based. I bought this exact same stick, hated it, then bought a leverless and loved it. But also nothing wrong with playing on pad. I play most games on pad like Street Fighter and Guilty Gear, but I can play Tekken well on stick as I do on pad. Just play
