My goals are my god, and anything or anyone against them is a devil. If you no longer support me, I will unapologetically cut you out of my life, whether our ties are of blood, water, or ink
I can’t change the past, but I can change how I feel about it. I can’t undo my mistakes, but I can make sure they don’t happen again. I can’t change the way I was raised, but I can make sure my future children never go through the same bullshit I did
@AmericaMan1776 I get that, since everyone is psychologically different, but the point is that those who’ve overcome greater struggles validate the prospect of positive change. To disagree is to uphold a limiting ideology. The flight to one’s full potential has no room for emotional baggage
Your whole life you thought you were special because of some sob story you made an identity out of. Sorry, that’s your ego, and if it’s more, then get psychiatric help. End of the day, someone out there has suffered more but complained less, and came from less but achieved more
Your inner demons are the most hurt part of you in the need of the most love. They’re not big, scary monsters, but rather cute, furry little imps. And although they’re yappy, they just want your love and attention. After all, you’ve abused and neglected them your whole life
Time deteriorates the eyes of our heart until we’re forced to wear the kaleidoscopic glasses of society. True learning is a process of unlearning. Children, not elders, teach us the most important life lessons, because they remind us how simple things can (and should) be
@BaileyMusick10 We shouldn’t! Every true “artist” or master of a craft – whether it be art, music, sports, engineering, comedy, etc. – has a distinct style which creates renown. When we align with our true wills, we become movers of the world. Outliers, not imitators, are remembered forever
@TwinFlameGirl Exactly! My tweet focused on why it’s bad for the cheater, but you’re 100% right. It’s usually worse for the person who was cheated on. It’s not fair and heartbreaking to see a good person turn cold after one person screws them over
@PaulWhyley I see where you’re coming from, but I don’t think love (at least as we know it) can exist without hatred. In a “perfect” world, I see love as a baseline void of the intensity of partiality. A love like that seems robotic and self-contradictory. I think a higher being like God
Thank God we’re human and make mistakes! A machine will never be able to create art, compose music, or love like us, because all of those things are based off imperfections. We’re not perfect, black and white algorithms – we’re like a Pollock painting: a beautiful mess of colors
