It's literally California law right now that teachers don't have to tell you if your child is coming to school and identifying as another gender.

There's Democrat supported bills in play to the effect that you can have your children taken away for gendering them ACCURATELY.

Not even close. I have shot probably 50-100 thousand basketball shots before in my life. I've made many shots that couldn't be replicated in a million tries.

That sounds like nonsense until you understand... making a 1/1million shot happens a lot more often by accident.

So maybe a swish from halfcourt is 1 in 100... but a shot that hits the rim bounces up to the top of the backboard, falls and bounces 3 times on the rim before going in... that is a 1 in a million shot.

The reason for this is that there are many many many ways to make a shot. There's only one way to make that very specific shot.

In other words, 1 in a million events happen all the time if you have the benefit of hindsight.

Getting a message from @Johnson__Anon is a 1 in a billion occurrence.

So odds are actually only valid predictively. If you apply odds with hindsight, first of all, the odds are already actually 100%... but secondly, you are defining the event in YOUR terms.

You can take any event and make it as probable or improbable as you want by simply redefining what took place.

At work, we use the thumbs up to acknowledge a message was received and understood while not responding.

That way you don't end up in a response loop and if someone does need a response they know they need to clarify that because a response isn't on the way.

Kind of like "Roger. Over and out" on a walkie talkie.
