We need more mental health services and support, not prisons. Did you know that poor mental health in prison increases the likelihood of re-offending? According to a Science Direct study, recidivism rates were 33-68% higher for prisoners with poor mental health. #mentalhealth

Work release programs show promise in reducing recidivism rates. Participants are more likely to find jobs, work more hours, and earn higher wages. The return on investment for work release is reported to be $11.19, with significant benefits for participants and society.
