@Gedpower You only need to look at Crete to see how four local authorities can look after 650,000 people and still be accountable to the Greek government. It shouldn’t be too difficult for the Manx local government and administration……

@Derek_Flint1 Too busy blaming each other Derek and the previous administration. The amount of money spent on public infrastructure projects is eye watering but progress is incredibly slow. Lack of proper governance and oversight has resulted in the status quo and inertia.

@GaryRobertsIOM @DudleyButt The Nolan Principles apply to all in public service. You can’t decide when they apply and when they don’t. The transparency around this is so important. Withholding information, relevant or not, undermines the whole process. What have they got to hide? Self preservation perhaps.
