Police are arriving to make arrests wearing neither uniforms nor nameplates, and the Delhi Police have barged into a political party office without permission. This hasty action against one of the faces of the students agitation, former JNU Students' Union President and SFI leader @aishe_ghosh is purely retaliation for her leading the historic protest that forced the Central Government to yield. The Central Government is issuing outright threats, declaring that all participants of the Jantar Mantar demonstration will be sent to prison

Everyone is anxious about the functioning of Parliament! But are we not equally outraged by the blatant violation of every rule and regulation, and the ruthless use of lethal weapons against unarmed, innocent protesters? Has such means used against even the rioters ? Can the Home Minister — who is directly responsible for the Delhi Police and the administration of Delhi — simply wash his hands of this shameful n shocking episode?
Today we attempted to meet the victim at RML Hospital, but the Delhi Police, true to form, blocked us . We couldn’t even meet the relatives. The police have effectively taken control of the hospitals as well.

When such brutal atrocities are unleashed in the national capital, how can responsibility not be fixed?
Beyond fixing responsibility, a judicial commission must be immediately constituted to inquire into this assault. We possess a mountain of evidence that conclusively proves every fundamental principle of law n regulation hve been trampled upon.

Congratulations to India's students and youth on this major victory!

@dpradhanbjp's resignation is only the first step. Now the @NTA_Exams has to be disbanded and the anti-student, commercial and communal NEP 2020 has to be rolled back as well.

Cases foisted on the protesters have to be dropped, and action has to be taken against all police personnel who brutally attacked our students.

Congratulations are also due to @abhijeet_dipke, @Wangchuk66 and all the students organisations including @SFI_CEC who braved all sorts of threats and stood steadfast in the path of struggle. This experience shows us that united struggles will be victorious.

It is heartening that eminent personalities across various streams, including sports, arts, cinema and culture, had come out in support of this movement. This experience shows us that united struggles will be victorious.

We should stay resilient and continue on till all our demands are met. Onwards, comrades!

When Dharmendra Pradhan announced his resignation, I was right there at Jantar Mantar. As news of the resignation broke, Jantar Mantar was engulfed in pure euphoria. It was the joy of seeing a protest fought with unwavering determination finally bear fruit. As someone who stood in solidarity with these students early on, I feel immensely happy. More than anything, I am thrilled to see these youngsters deal a heavy blow to the Central Government’s arrogance and hubris.
