My father’s @Apple iPhone got stolen this year and that’s when I realised how shitty FIND DEVICE feature actually is

1. Whole security LOCKING UP; LOCATION etc only works when device has INTERNET connection

now why will a”RIGHT MINDED GOOD THIEF” will allow internet to be connected to device; first thing he does is to remove SIM card and switch off the device and even if device is turned on it will need WiFi to work those “SECURITY FEATURES”; how will my device connect to a WiFi automatically unless thief is my neighbour and my router connection reaches to his house so no FIND DEVICE for you “PREMIUM ONES”.

2. STOLEN DEVICE relies only on screen lock to protect your data from being stolen; but I am being told it is pretty sturdy but that’s it; the extent of security by mighty apple.

3. There is something called FIND NETWORK which “IF TURNED ON” on your device can utilise nearby iPhone network to communicate its location but mind it IF TURNED ON by you prior to the phone got stolen; WTF APPLE just keep it always on automatically; I do not remember if I turned it on or not.

4. Apparently now that phone is useless to me as well as to thatGENTLEMEN who took it and only security I get is my data is secure which by the way I can’t erase without the BLOODY INTERNET; if my device has INTERNET to erase data might as well communicate the LOCATION first and LOCK THE PHONE UP.

i agree gurgaon has better dedicated infra i was just making point that noida too have functional infrastructure and is not a pitstop rather a functional urban city.

Now you are comparing it to gurgaon which i agree has better network so does delhi or mumbai (best)

horizontally spread cities will always need auto as secondary means of connectivity

airports by design are planned in outskirts so its fine
