BREAKING: EL-RUFAI ALLIES RETURN TO APC, DECLARE SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR Uba Sani
In what could signal a major political realignment in Kaduna State, some prominent former allies and political associates of former Governor Nasiru El-Rufai have returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared their support for Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani.
Among those reportedly returning to the APC are Bashir Saidu, former Chief of Staff to the Kaduna State Government, and Abdu Kwari, former Commissioner and former Senator.
Their return comes amid growing political realignments and shifting alliances in Kaduna ahead of the 2027 elections.
The move could strengthen Governor Uba Sani’s position within the APC, particularly because the returning figures have long been associated with the political camp of former Governor El-Rufai.
It also raises a bigger question about the future of Kaduna politics.
