The unsettled weather did not deter Longburn School from holding their camp at Sixtus Lodge last week. Horizons' enviro-educator helped them explore the water quality at Cone Creek, a great spot to find macroinvertebrates such as these large stonefly larvae🙂

Today is #WorldFishMigrationDay and we are celebrating the work of Horizons' native fish team. Since the project began in 2020, the team have walked 2,949km of stream habitat, assessed 1,620 instream barriers and fixed 11 barriers allowing fish access to more stream habitat🙂
