@lancscricket Gillette Cup Final, 1972: Sir Clive opened the bowling with the very good figures of 12-2-31-0 and then made 126n.o. to win us the Cup and, to quote Max Boyce, "I know because I was there". A grand day out and one I'll never forget.....Thanks for ALL the memories Sir Clive !!

@lancscricket Opening the bowling in a Gillette Cup Final at Lords, 12-1-36-0 if I recall right and then scoring 130 n.o. (ish) to win it. Along with a hell of a lot of Red Rose guys we were in awe of him and that heavy bat he swung so well. What a man…!!

@barneyrednews Lots of good comments here. Don’t see the point of Sesko if you have no way of getting the ball to him. The midfield doesn’t work & Dorgu is too easy to block. Amorim says Kobbie is up against Bruno for a place, so no room for him, ludicrous! Amorim gone before Xmas on this form

@LancsCCMG I wish you all the best with the SGM and the quest to return LCCC to where and how it should be run. Although I live down south if the club is to be properly run and Gidney/Chilton free I’ll become a member, even if I don’t get to a game up North. LCCC and that rose matters to me
