Have a butchers at the latest Comms below if you missed it this morning.
Slightly longer than usual but you simply cannot rush the sheer and delight of a Barry goal and a Jeremy 95th minute penalty save.
Thanks as always ๐พ๐ช
@_shaunirvine Itโs still not over? Iโm resigned to the fact it may never be over but I seriously doubt that the Qatar bid was ever competitive, welcome or sensible.
@Lmufc2501 I was standing in A Stand right next to them last night, this is a great gesture but that aside, nothing classy about their fans, particularly the fat shirtless one who seemed to be their cheerleader.
@Alan_Tonge I've been fortunate to have met him on several occasions, a hilarious character and as you say, warm and welcoming. A great servant of this great club.
@TheGreenDevil20 Itโs typically the same people (like Jonneh) that canโt wait to slag off Bruno or Rashford, player FC types. Neither have been in great form this season, but Bruno has still managed to serve up more goal scoring chances than most on the league
@johnludds They have dishonoured the shoulders of the giants that they are beyond fortunate to stand on for so long, that itโs hard to feel anything other than embarrassed.
@_shaunirvine Such a strange way to end oneโs career at the club. Offered so much promise but never looked like heโd kick on, hope on a human level that he matures his thinking and behaviours.
@johnludds I find your thoughts and words wonderful, please do continue to share them, youโre capturing my emotions with them. Iโve been to OT plenty of times when the stadium is empty, but strangely it felt alive to me, perhaps those red ghosts are what makes it such a special place to be?
@johnludds Sir Bobby was my Dadโs hero. They were born two weeks apart in โ37, we lost them both to dementia this year. My Dad was in no doubt that Bobby Charlton was the finest player ever to represent us, I loved his stories.
