You don't need to exploit cows to have tasty milks, cheeses and other products! Plant-based items are better for your health, better for the environment and most importantly they don't rely on using and abusing animals! Give them a try 😃 #GoVegan#Februdairy#DairyFree
@Chefknowsbest Yes one can eat too much dairy, and it depends what type. Butter, cream and hard cheeses are high in saturated fat and, from a health perspective, should be consumed occasionally not regularly (if at all), certainly should reduce or stop if trying to lose weight/lower cholesterol
Let's show the cows support instead.
They don't deserve to live their lives in a repeated cycle of artificial insemination, pregnancy, having their baby taken away, being milked to capacity, then killed when she's no longer making a profit for Dairy's greed. #Februdairy https://t.co/J51IdhbtXu
@allanimalrights I would challenge the phrase “definitive cause”. It is associated with increased growth of prostate cancer cells. These are two different statements. There is evidence that dairy is unhealthy for several reasons, but it is important to interpret evidence correctly
@nossuntlegio I think farmers know the truth, but see things in a different way because as you say it’s their livelihood. I tweet because I believe consumers should know all the facts about how dairy is produced. I certainly wish I knew sooner. But I won’t resort to unkindness to individuals.
