My first release on itch; really proud to have finally done this and looking forward to expanding my portfolio on there.

If you enjoyed, please consider leaving a wishlist! From today, I have an 18 month roadmap into developing the full title :)
Eveeeeen though I am a technical designer/ developer, I am a very curious creative- it helps me problem solve and implement/design code.
However, I enjoy creating art too!
Before games, I only used the paintbrush and pencil. Now, I can use apps like Blender, ASP + Metahuman
However, I'm sticking to my guns and trying to embrace the fact that I am, strangely, a blend between a games developer and football / sports coach.
I don't know many people like me and perhaps I might find a hole for myself in between the industries, but I'm me!
I have secured a second coaching job where I will be working with professional footballers!
However, it's bittersweet, as I've been told in the same breath that I have *too many passions* and I'm interested in *too many different things*
The dream was and always will be to be in the games industry. Speaking frankly, I'm at a point where I don't know if I can keep applying for jobs I will get no response for (financially + motivationally).
hmm...not being filled with heaps of confidence at the moment.
applying for so many jobs, altering CVs, and writing cover letters (applications taking up to a week at a time) to have radio silence is dare I say it; 'getting boring'. Not to come across as petulant, btw.
Wtf, @unity
Honestly, who actually passes the parcel on these decisions. It feels like this industry is being gatekeeped for the rich, uncreative, and unimaginative.
Bit different, but I just want to share how happy I am this evening.
The job hunt could be going better but I'm working really hard on a game with my university peers that'll be a demo on Steam soon hopefully, listening to the Skyrim soundtrack.
I'm working hard, but at peace.
