Today our visiting researcher Alican Caliskan from @khashukuk delivered an excellent presentation "Assignability of Receivables under Turkish and English Law: Requirements and Prohibitions", chaired by @OrkunAkseli, attended by @law_uom staff, PhDs and online participants
Kola Mayomi and I contributed a chapter to "Soft Law in International Trade Finance", examining UCP 600 enforcement in Nigeria, a key contribution to understudied commercial law in Africa.

This Friday, as part of the @BritishCouncil's Going Global Partnerships initiative, I'll be delivering a talk at the China University of Political Science and Law, where I'll discuss the 2019 Hague Judgments Convention and its implications for China.
