A one-day awareness campaign on CMHT and AB-PMJAY at Mata IFCD Relief Centre and Lanva TD Block Relief Centre was conducted successfully by the District Implementation Unit (DIU), Churachandpur, in collaboration with the State Health Agency, Manipur on the 31st of March 2026.

The initiative focused on educating communities - especially internally displaced persons (IDPs) - about eligibility, enrollment procedures and the benefits of these healthcare schemes, including cashless treatment coverage up to ₹5 lakhs per family per year.

Citizens were encouraged to ensure their cards are updated and prepared in advance for seamless access to healthcare services. The awareness drive will continue across various sub-divisions of the district until April 7, 2026.

Awareness programmes on Chief Minister gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) were conducted across designated relief camps in the State.

The initiatives were organised by the respective District Implementation Units for CMHT and PMJAY in collaboration with the State Health Agency/State Nodal Cell, Manipur.

The programmes were held at the following locations:
• Relief Camp, Lamding Higher Secondary School, Lamding - March 25, 2026
• Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Wangjing - March 26, 2026
• Tombisana High School (covering inmates from THAU Ground Relief Camp and Khomdram Salungba Upper Primary Relief Camp) - March 26, 2026
• Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, Lamboikhongnangkhong - March 26, 2026

More awareness programmes are scheduled to be conducted across districts having relief camps.

The programme aimed to sensitise Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) on eligibility criteria, procedures for availing treatment, entitlements and benefits, along with grievance redressal mechanisms related to health cards.
