With the popularity of my previous thread on Ukraine which was all non-fiction and history I have decided to write a thread on fiction. These are either written by Ukrainians, about Ukrainians or set on the territory of Ukraine.

Both have good Jobs good credit rating but cannot remortgage away from Landmark and paying just shy of 10%. Estimate overpaid c. £60K than if had been on standard bank rates as was with N Rock.

Hey, @Iromg Mike, listening to your talk just now about Cerberus being a three headed dog. Well the government after the crash of 2008 sold our N Rock mortgage to a non lending USA vulture fund called Cerberus; we are still trapped on over 9% interest rates. @mortgageprison

@carolvorders @TheInvisibleVe1 @carolvorders The government have refused to act and put this scandal right. Ordinary families sold to USA Vulture Funds and trapped. Estimate we've overpaid £60K on our mortgage since 2010 and getting critical now. Appreciate any support you can give us. 🤗

Favourite indie bookshop without doubt is @GoldfinchBooks_ in Alton. So much more than a bookshop, it has author events, 4 bookclubs, home made cakes, writing groups and Penguin author @LouiseMorrish1 ! A wonderful place to hang out!

@ILWADZI Not a spoiler, book ends the same way; she marries him so she has some security, what other choice did she have? But in RL who knows? None of the characters in the novel were particularly pleasant.
