We hope Manda's bench will be a place for those who loved Manda to sit and think of her.
It was built by our friends at Dorking Men's Shed. Its feature back panel is carved by local artist and sculptor, Iain Hamilton Crafer.
Manda’s family have commissioned a bench in her memory.
Please come and see it and join us for a glass of fizz on Sunday 17 December at midday.
You will find it at Denbies Wine Estate. The red x on the map marks the spot. The What3Words location is ///jazz.faces.clouds.
Homes for Swifts
Sarah Relf from the Manda Slater Memorial Fund came into school and ran two assemblies for the children about swifts. We are delighted to be supporting the charity and have two swift nest boxes at the front of the school so look out for the swifts!
@WriterHannahBT Well done for forcing this issue up the agenda. What is your opinion of the debate? I feel optimistic and encouraged by Labour's response - whether we like it or not, they could well be in power soon 😬
Fresh from the printer - our little book about Salcombe. To raise money for Salcombe charities. £5 plus £1.50 p&p. Lots of beautiful pictures - most by local artists and illustrators. Message me 😊

@WriterHannahBT I agree, a horse chestnut in bloom is glorious. But I don't think there is a better sight than a majestic spreading ancient oak in early summer 🥰
Salcombe RNLI Silent Auction
This beautiful, framed print of Sunny Cove in Salcombe is 100x50cm. It was donated by the artist, Lucy Young, to us to help raise funds for Salcombe RNLI
