Yantra meditation assists in clearing the content of our consciousness, allowing it to become a pure mirror that reflects without distortion or interpretation. In this state of emptiness—this no-thing-ness—All That Is exists infinitely. https://t.co/N0GlmDMSDW
The word ‘mandala’ in this context means ‘universe’. When we offer a mandala to the holy beings we are offering everything – the whole universe and everyone in it. ~ Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Happy Tara Day and Medicine Buddha Day everybody!
“Tara is the popular female form of the Buddha, she will help in even the most mundane matters … Where the Buddha seems too removed and sublime, the maternal compassion of Tara can be invoked.”

@dardanidae1@DalaiLama Back to compassion, I do not disagree with what you say. In the context of @DalaiLama he is considered a living emanation of Avalokiteśvara who embodies compassion. If I may use a cooking analogy, it is his "speciality" therefore everything he does or says involve compassion.
@dardanidae1@DalaiLama A good question :) by which I think that you are indirectly trying to define self in absolute terms. The Madhyamaka assume that all phenomena are empty of "nature" meaning no independent existence. Self with reality dependently co-arise like music formed by moments of silence.
Just try to keep your mind in the present. Whatever arises in the mind, just watch it and let go of it. Don't even wish to be rid of thoughts. Then the mind will return to its natural state.

@dardanidae1@DalaiLama In the context of Buddhist philosophy emptiness refers to "impermanence" Regarding your question, hatred leads to self centrism whereas compassion leads to awareness & by extension enlightenment or the right view (in the sense of not being affected by impermanent phenomenon)
