Police just told parents going to Europe’s biggest travelling fair (Hull Fair) to take photos of their kids before they go in in case they vanish.

This is after a fairground worker was jailed for 20 years for raping a teenage girl he groomed on site, and an organised gang tried to snatch a 5-year-old boy right in front of his mum.

Pickpockets are rife. Other fairs have had similar grooming and abduction attempts. Parents are being told to write their phone numbers on paper and stick it in their child’s pocket.

This is what “all the fun of the fair” looks like in 2026.

Today, politics stops. My family home address was published deliberately by a Labour Councillor, and I am absolutely furious that this line has been crossed.

Cllr Gavin Callaghan published my home address knowing full well my family live there, including my 86-year-old heavily disabled grandmother. We are living in a country where Reform UK representatives such as Ann Widdecombe were murdered in a targeted attack, and a man has now been charged with preparing terrorist acts targeting Nigel Farage. Political security is not some abstract concern anymore. It is real.

I want to thank the Chief Executive, Monitoring Officer, Essex Police and Cllr Andy Barnes for rallying around me and my family today. Whatever political differences exist, this has gone beyond politics. My home, my family and their safety are NOT fair game.

So Gavin Callaghan should understand this very clearly… Today you crossed the line. I will pursue every lawful route available to hold you accountable, and I will not rest politically until residents have the chance to judge your conduct for themselves.

Under this plan, you will be legally forced to fund the BBC even if you do not own a television set and never watch a single second of their programming.

Over half a million households cancelled their licences last year because the British public is sick to death of subsidising state propaganda and biased reporting.

In a free market, a failing media company goes bankrupt when customers walk away.

Under Andy Burnham and Lisa Nandy, the state simply forces you to pay for it under threat of criminal penalty.

Now connect the dots to their wider censorship agenda.

Labour is banning young people from social media, setting up a state information defence centre, and forcing internet providers to promote the very broadcaster you are being forced to fund.

The BBC has abandoned competing for audiences and has become a mandatory state church funded by an unavoidable poll tax.
