It is naïve to simply conclude that the audio is AI-generated. Personally, I do not believe it is AI-generated, but I hope experts and investigators will carry out proper forensic examinations to establish the truth. To me, the sound quality and voice effects in the audio clearly suggest that it may not be AI-generated.

However, the bigger question remains: what was the motive behind leaking such serious allegations against Dr. Tagwirei?

The truth is that this appears to be a well-crafted mission aimed at creating division between the President and his trusted lieutenant, Dr. Tagwirei. Some individuals are clearly pushing a political narrative designed to create confusion, suspicion, and unnecessary tension within the nation.

Those heard in the audio must account for the statements they made. Dragging people’s names through the mud in order to push a foolish and misleading narrative is wrong and unacceptable. Political differences should never justify spreading falsehoods or attempting to destroy reputations through manufactured stories.

Now, let me focus on the wedding itself.

At no point did Passion Java get close enough to Prophet Makandiwa @prmakandiwa for any private conversation to take place. Prophet Makandiwa arrived at the wedding at exactly 10:15 a.m., and his VIP vehicle was parked next to mine. From the moment he arrived, he remained with his wife, Madam Makandiwa @ruthmakandiwa, throughout the entire ceremony.

The only moment Passion Java came close to Prophet Makandiwa was during the prayer session for the bride and groom. Apart from that brief moment, there was no interaction between them.

Furthermore, Prophet Angel @UebertAngel arrived together with President Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa at around 5 p.m. Since Prophet Angel accompanied the Guest of Honour, they sat at the designated VVIP table, which was far from where Java was seated. Prophet Angel also left the wedding together with President Mnangagwa, as they had arrived in the same vehicle.

There was never an opportunity for the three individuals mentioned to sit together or hold any conversation at the same time. Therefore, the claims being circulated in the leaked audio suggesting that Prophet Makandiwa had such a discussion with Java and the other mentioned individuals are completely false.

President Mnangagwa spent no more than 30 minutes at the wedding before departing. To therefore suggest that such a discussion took place involving Prophet Makandiwa, Java, and the other named individuals is simply a fabrication.

I repeat: it is a pure lie.

Fellow Zimbabweans, let us not be quick to believe every allegation being circulated on social media, especially when such claims are capable of damaging reputations and creating unnecessary division in the country.
