Mali and Bakina Faso have been in contact with EFF regarding security details of CIC Julius Malema in SA and Africa. They are willing to provide special forces to protect world asset, the CIC. Africa will move towards progressive policy and independent economy from the imperialist.
OK, this has now shifted from annoying to disappointing and pathetic. With all due respect, Marco… sure, Jan.
You're talking about a song. a decades-old struggle song that has never incited a race war, never fuelled genocide, and certainly hasn’t posed any credible threat to social stability. And you’re holding that up against a very real, ongoing genocide, one that continues to receive financial and political backing from your government?
If the conversation is about moral high ground, then perhaps open your doors to Palestinians who are experiencing the full weight of genocide, displacement, dispossession, and violence. Then we can talk.
The attempt to use South Africa as a pawn in this narrative — to single us out as some kind of cautionary tale — is not only disingenuous, it’s misjudged. Full marks for the effort, but South Africa is arguably the least appropriate example to prop up a claim of defending democracy and human rights.
Yes, we have our challenges, and no South African will deny that. But when it comes to human rights and democratic values, we speak from lived experience. We earned our democracy through sacrifice. We know what state violence looks like, what it means to be denied self-determination, and how hard-won sovereignty must be protected, not just in principle, but in practice.
Let’s be honest. South Africa wasn’t chosen here on principle. It was chosen because a tech billionaire says it must be so. That’s not policy. It’s not diplomacy. It’s something far more cynical - the weaponisation of misinformation to destabilise a country that continues to trade with you, partner with you, and provide the critical minerals your industries rely on.
Fortunately, the international community isn’t blind. Rational, evidence-based diplomacy still exists, and South Africa continues to find support in those spaces. The world sees nuance. It sees complexity. And it sees through attempts to obscure both.
So yes, if this is a campaign of misdirection, of misinformation and it’s not landing. It won’t. Because its foundation isn’t truth. And truth matters.
As for South Africans? Resilient doesn’t even begin to cover it. We’ve survived the worst of conditions, rebuilt from the depths of oppression, and continue - every single day - to work toward a more just society. We are not perfect, but we are not what you paint us to be, especially black South Africans. We are no bloodthirsty genocidal monster. That narrative will not stand unchallenged. We will not be dehumanized.
Normalize saying 'no' without guilt.

Elon Musk and Afriforum are spreading lies about South Africa and Africa.
We urgently need communities that can correct disinformation and have real discussion about Africa.
