Happy Birthday to my partner in music and in life, @Mduduzi_Mtshali ! ๐นโฅ๏ธ
Most people know you as the brilliant maestro on the keys, but our children and I know you as the steady heart of our home. We love you Hlabangane!โฅ๏ธ
Sandile Ngidi has translated Molly Bloom's soliloquy into isiZulu. Big ups. I'd love to read the whole thing, i just heard the reading of it. Things like these go unnoticed in this country, like that brother who translated baudelaire into isiZulu. James Joyce is proud, brother.
Throughout the years I have learned so much about presentation and alignment, and respect is the basis of it all. For me to be able to step on that stage I had to think and respect everything in , around , beyond and before me , to know that I stand to represent and all I have to do is respectfully surrender to the intention set out way before me. I am so grateful โบ๏ธ
๐ Oh @bathini_africa I feel your journey and love in each piece, the process of bringing the fabric together, the intention to make us feel seen just covers me so beautifully thank you so much for your amazing hands ๐๐พโจ

Having homophobic parents isn't the issue. Expecting me to tolerate or spend time around them is. I've already cut homophobic family members out of my own life. Why would I dismantle those boundaries for yours?
