@PhilHayes99@HighrollPoker@HCLPokerShow Because there a finite amount of people that can play in a $1 mill buy-in game, he seems like a nice guy that people like to play with, and he makes it +ev for other players to play in the game.
@thekidet@iconserve90 Even if he was “trash”, he made $95 Million over his career and made it to the NBA. At the minimum, it’s true that his success will far outpace whatever any of the trolls are saying. The fact of the matter is any of us would absolutely love to be a “bust” if it means being rich.
@haralabob It seemed like it was just a carrot to attract more people to the site early to increase the player pool. Ironically, I think that just developing a site that operated smoothly with mixed games was a strong enough hook on its own. TBD if they can iron out the current problems.
@TPLkillaKP@haralabob But that’s not really the point. He didn’t make money at the direct expense of other bettors. He made it at the expense of books who were never going to let that money go.
@TPLkillaKP@haralabob If I give you a dollar, and then you give your friend a dollar, that doesn’t mean you gave them my dollar. You gave them your dollar.
@Tatyanna_Dumas Weapons was better than anything Jordan Peele has done, IMO. Also, he desperately wanted to buy the rights to produce Weapons, so I think even he would disagree with you.
@HiddenRealityPC@Glenjr1988 Ok. Specifically, I’m addressing your claim that he’s been an amazing GM overall. Not even the biggest AD fan in the world would have done that trade. He also got killed in the Grimes deal.
