Our discussion reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations between #Albania and #Israel and our shared commitment to further deepening cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.

We also exchanged views on regional developments, common security challenges, and the importance of strengthening international cooperation to counter terrorism, violent extremism, and emerging hybrid threats, while continuing to support efforts aimed at advancing peace, stability, and security in the region and beyond.

Her spirit continues to inspire millions around the world through acts of love, sacrifice, and solidarity with the poorest and most vulnerable among us.

The images shared by Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir showing the humiliating treatment of detained #flotilla activists are shocking and unacceptable.

All persons detained must be treated with dignity and in full respect of human rights, international law, and humanitarian law.

I have instructed our #Embassy in Tel Aviv to remain in close contact and coordination with the Israeli authorities in order to ensure that appropriate consular assistance is provided to our citizen, as needed and in full compliance with international law.

At these difficult and challenging times, #Albania stands in full solidarity with the people of #Israel and with all those affected by the attacks carried out by Iran and Hezbollah. Targeting civilians is unacceptable, and we commend the courage and resilience of the Israeli people.

Albania supports decisive international efforts to ensure that the Iranian regime is prevented from acquiring nuclear or any other weapons of mass destruction that threaten peace in the region and beyond. Iran deserves a government by the people and for the people. Albania will soon take a formal decision to declare the #IRGC what it truly is: a terrorist organization.

I deeply value the longstanding friendship and strong ties between Albania and Israel, built on shared values and a unique history of solidarity between our peoples. This year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries — a milestone reflecting the strength and endurance of this friendship. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation.
