Yoruba especially from Ede, in Ọsun State find South East as second home. The governor of Ọsun State is from Ede. He is half Yoruba, half Igbo. One of his wives is also Igbo. Davido his nephew, married an Igbo lady, Chioma. It is commonplace among people from Ede.
Saka Aliyat, a Yoruba student from Osun State, gained widespread attention in October, 2025 after emerging as the overall best graduating student at Choice De Immaculate Demonstration School (CIDS), Obosi, Anambra State.
She received numerous awards for her outstanding academic performance and exemplary conduct.
Some of the awards she won include:
1. Best Student in Igbo Language
2. Best Student in English Language
3. Best Student in Chemistry
4. Best Student in Physics
5. Best Student in Biology.
6. Best Student in Economics
7. Best Student in Marketing
8. Most Disciplined Student
9. Most Hardworking Student
10. Most Punctual Student
11. Best Student in Neatnest/Complete Uniform
12. Affinity to Students (friendliness) award.
They dragged "best student in mathematics" with her 😂
Whenever people tell you that Igbo don't accommodate visitors ask them how come this lady flourished and clinched almost all available prizes including Igbo language? They made her feel at home.
No worries sha, one Uchenna or Obinna somewhere must have started eyeing her. Whatever the bride price is, he will pay 😂
Moses Simon said he wasn’t chosen by Enugu Rangers when he tried out because he wasn’t Igbo, which is not true.
He wasn’t chosen because he was not good enough. Has he seen himself on that pitch?
If I was a football manager, he would not be anywhere near the Super Eagles team or international football. He would still be in his village playing for his community league.
Igbo people reward hard work. They don’t do favoritism. If you earn it, you will get it. If you are good, you are good.
During the time Moses Simon tried out Enugu Rangers, Mundu Usman a non-Igbo was the assistant coach. There was even a Ghanaian and a Senegalese in the team.
There were so many people from other ethnicities in the team.
Just check out the list below 👇🏽 and you will see.
Even in the last football match Enugu Rangers played, check out the lineup in the third image below 👇🏽 and you will see that there is no tribalism.
I think there is a spirit that comes with podcasts. Whenever people sit down on a podcast, they just start capping.
Bringing up tribalism to tarnish the image of Enugu Rangers and Ndi Igbo is misleading.
EX-NATO CHAIRMAN'S SHOCK WARNING: WEST'S UKRAINE STRATEGY RISKS UNCONTROLLABLE WAR WITH RUSSIA
The former Chairman of the NATO Military Committee and Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, Harald Kujat, has issued one of the clearest warnings yet on the Ukraine war. Speaking from decades at the highest levels of NATO and German defense leadership, he shows why current Western policy is failing militarily while actively raising the danger of a direct NATO-Russia clash that could escape all control. His assessment demands attention because it comes from someone who knows both the battlefield realities and the constitutional obligations Europe has ignored.
**THE ESCALATION TRAP**
➡️ Harald Kujat states the risk of a conventional war between NATO and Russia is not calculable at this moment.➡️ If it occurs, that risk becomes uncontrollable because escalation dynamics on both sides take over completely.
➡️ Ukraine's deep strikes into Russian territory rely on Western hardware, software like Palantir, and targeting support to succeed.
➡️ From Russia's perspective this support crosses the line into direct participation, forcing a response that the West has not fully weighed.
**THE BATTLEFIELD REALITY**
➡️ Russian forces now control 100 percent of Luhansk and continue daily advances across the Donbas.
➡️ Ukraine has shifted to long-range attacks on Russian refineries because it cannot achieve a breakthrough on the front lines.
➡️ Russia holds decisive superiority in manpower and materials, giving it clear escalation dominance throughout the conflict.
**THE ANCHORAGE SHIFT**
➡️ Putin had deliberately slowed major operations after talks with President Trump in Anchorage, expecting a deal that kept the Donbas regions while compromising elsewhere.
➡️ Perceived Western backtracking after the G7 convinced Moscow that negotiations were no longer viable.
➡️ Russia responded by accelerating its offensive to secure core interests on the battlefield instead of waiting any longer.
**THE CONSTITUTIONAL DEAD END**
➡️ Ukraine's own 1990 sovereignty declaration and 1991 independence act established permanent neutrality and banned membership in military blocs.
➡️ Pushing NATO membership not only violates Ukraine's founding constitutional order but remains practically impossible without unanimous consent from every NATO member.
➡️ It would simply import an open Russia conflict straight into the alliance, making collective defense far more dangerous for everyone.
**THE ONLY REALISTIC PATH**
➡️ The viable exit requires Ukrainian permanent neutrality plus recognition of Luhansk and Donetsk independence under a UN mandate to create a stable buffer zone.
➡️ Both sides must drop maximalist demands, with compromises possible on other territories to secure Russia's land corridor to Crimea.
➡️ Germany carries special historical responsibility and its Basic Law, a peace constitution, requires active efforts to end the war rather than simply prolong it.
**THE BOTTOM LINE**
A former top NATO commander has laid out the unvarnished truth. The West's current approach is not delivering victory. It is steadily removing the ability to control events while Ukraine's own constitution and military reality both point toward negotiated compromise as the only way to protect European security for the next generation. The choice is between endless escalation and a peace that actually ends the killing.
This is the sound of control slipping away — unless realism returns now.
