@howardstutz@RefriedBrean The best thing we can do when seeing coyotes is scare them off by yelling and throwing rocks. I know it feels mean, but it keeps everyone safer, including the coyotes.
I wish I had known this a few weeks ago before I found my neighbors’ kitty killed by coyotes. 😢
For the first time since 2004, three women have won open WSOP bracelet events in the same summer.
Kristen Foxen (@krissyb24poker) won Event #19: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em for $1.7m and her sixth bracelet.
Michelle Chin took down Event #58: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw for $161k and her inaugural bracelet.
And Yanting Jiang captured the over $1.1m first-place prize and her first bracelet in Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold'em
With a record number of women competing this summer, this milestone is only the beginning.
The WSOP Main Event final table will air LIVE on ESPN2 August 3rd, with coverage continuing on @espn August 4th and 5th.
Wanted to use my platform here to bring attention to a missing persons case. Australian tourist Sally Contarino (26) has been missing since June 20th. She was last seen in Las Vegas on Skye Canyon drive. Her bus ticket from Vegas to LA was never scanned and she missed her flight back to Australia that was to take off from LA. She was known to like to hike so she could be in Mount Charleston area. One of the articles states she got off the bus at Mount Charleston so hikers please keep a look out!
I’ll post the articles in the comments but here is her photo-
Summerlin residents: Keep a close eye on your furry friends, especially at dawn and dusk. There are coyotes here. One of them snatched my neighbor’s cat last night. 💔
