@DonaldClark @seatsixtyone @chingchames Hi Donald, it’s not cheaper but it’s very doable and there is demand. I do Berlin-London twice a year (just got back to Berlin today and heading off to London on Thursday). I often see the same people from my Berlin train at Köln and Brussels.

@seatsixtyone Forgot to mention I was looking at train journeys because the ferry is now 13:05 or 16:xx so the connection isn’t as good as the 14:45… I’ve followed all of your links but it could be that the algorithm here in Germany is cocking things up 🤔Thank you for the swift reply

@seatsixtyone trying to book the rail&sail to Dublin for June (July returns not available yet). Does 343Eur seem reasonable for 2 adults, open return? Feels a bit steep to me. Had dreamed of going 1st class to Holyhead but it's more expensive than 3 weeks car hire! TIA
