We joined Conservation Volunteers Wellington to plant 1000 native trees at Tangi Te Keo (Mt Victoria) in celebration of Matariki. Together, we’re planning on planting over 45,000 trees over the next three years to help restore a native forest to the heart of the city!
Awesome to mark the start of Matariki by helping Huramua Marae in Wairoa plant native trees so they could create a special place for future generations to enjoy while honouring their people from the past. Support for the planting was provided by our Matariki Tu Rākau programme.
