Scientists found that bee venom can destroy cancer cells.

And just days later, the government moves to shut down the country's top bee research lab.

Bee venom contains a compound called melittin.

In lab studies out of Australia, melittin destroyed aggressive breast cancer cells, including triple-negative, one of the hardest types to treat.
